If you are going from the factory non-NAV radio to the factory NAV radio, you will have a lot of upgrades that you will be forced to do. In short, you are going to be ripping out most of the dash to install the automatic temp control system that is part of the Nav radio as you won't have the space for the current controls that you have. You will also need to install a lot of other modules throughout the vehicle to make the NAV system work properly. For what you are going to spend, it is going to be cheaper and much, much easier to go with an aftermarket radio to get the NAV feature in your vehicle.
Can it be done. Of Course!!!!! But, are you willing to do what it will take and what it will cost to do that?

SatNav upgrade
Hello all,
There really are some excellent threads on this topic, detailing the modules required, the work required, etc etc right here throughout this forum. Read them ... take notes and copy members' pics ... locate hardware ... then, when you have done your homework, ask specific questions that will help others help you.
Even the cabling issues through the cabin from console to boot (trunk?) are all explained to upgrade early cars, although this should not be an issue for a 2005 model.
An alternate plan which Thermo didn't mention in his ecellent reply, is to upgrade your car instead That way, you get the SatNav, along with all the other companion modules and features, for just the cost of trading up your present vehicle ... Yes? No?
