Sticky door handle? Part number?
Hey everyone,
I have a 07 x-type that has a sticky passenger side door handle and they said I need to replace the whole mechanism inside the handle. Where can I find them online and how much labor is involved.
Does anyone have a part number?
Thanks

Did they mean the Door Latch (item 3)?

If so, there are 6 different Part Numbers for vehicles with deadlocking and another 6 for vehicles without deadlocking. Post back which range your VIN comes under (just the range - it's not a good plan to post actual full VIN's on a public forum) and I'll check the Part Number.
The regular issue with the Door Latch on other models (e.g. XKR) is a failed micro switch. These can be replaced to avoid the high cost of a new Door Latch assembly.
