Stupid Question!
To All,
When does a car become "high mileage"? From what I have found it is 75,000. Ok - so what say you all?
My car just pushed 60,000 and I am looking at oil options. I have looked for the GTX Magnetec 5W-30 as posted earlier, but I have not found in U.S. Is there equivilant on U.S. market?
As always - thanks gang - you are the best!

RE: Stupid Question!
All relative and down to maitenance I'd say
Peugeot 309 GLD 195k miles in 3 years
Ford Mondeo 1.8 tdi 160k miles in 3 years
Ford Mondeo 2.0 tdi 170k miles in 3 years
Ford Mondeo 2.0 tdi 155k miles in 3 years
Saab 93 1.9 tid 67k miles in 2 years
Above are some of the cars I have owned in the last 12-15 years or so and all by your calculations I guess would be considered high mileage. They were all maintained regularly and whatever work was needed was done and I had very few problems to report.
Says it all in my book
Jim
