Im too nervous about this Tata Deal. I wonder will this drop the current used prices for Jaguar ? Looks like you will be able to get an X-Type soon for 4K

Who knows what it will do with it...perhaps it could make them worth more who knows? Seems they get much flack for being owned by ford as it is! How much worse could it get? That sucks though because I like ford...they'll still own a stake in jag just not as big as they did I think...

You want them chirpy chirpy cheep cheep you said and you change your cars every 6 months or so anyway dont you???

Never fear he got a deal on his car anyways! If it did drop he'd still be able to get at least what hey paid for it!

Yes I get rid of my cars every 4-6 months. So most likely I will sell my S-Type R in May or June, summer prices go up. But at the same time I really like the S-type R its a good car, Im even contemplating keeping it. But with Tata its unpredictable, so therefore I will sell before the Select Edition runs out in Oct.

Yeah i'd sell it before the warranty runs out for sure! I'd get another one though!

Yeah I thinking about gettin an 04 next time around or an XKR 01-02. I like Jaguars the Rs though.

They suck for holding their value consider that the base-line s-type r's retail is 60k+ similarly that same price tag back in 01 for the xk's were similar and yet they are still worth 20k+...the price tag is still extremely high on the xk's...not to mention that that car is now 7 years old and yet the 5 year old s-type r is worth less than 20k...
