Hi Guys N Girls,
I have the dreaded oil leak from the Transfer Case on my 06 X-Type and all the Procedures I have read say "Apply sealant (C2S 12099)"
OK now the question where do I find the sealant or what is an alternative? could I use Permatex Gear Oil RTV Sealant or would I run into problems?
sorry if i am asking silly questions but 4 hours of searching with no Joy decided to just ask.
Please help.

in the 2nd post he used "Permatex Ultra Gray silicone."

I shall try and take some pictures while I struggle so hopefully you guys wont have to

Just about any sealant works fine. Thats just a jaguar part number
