Anyone know if the manual heater control panel can be replaced with the electronic one? I would imagine the loom already has the connectors as i'm sure they wouldnt make different looms

 

I was thinking that I'd like to swap my auto climate control panel for a manual one. To me, the old school screen on the auto climate control panel will look out of place once I install the touch screen stereo...

 

Have a look at this article, Can I swap these controls ? It's not straightforward as there are various sensors and other stuff needed.

 

Blimey!!!! was worth looking at but way too much to do as far as the whole dash wiring loom needs changing and the fan motor unit itself and installation of all the sensors.

I think i'll stick to retro :-)

Manual AC is superior to the automatic in one crucial way; you can direct airflow to both your hands AND the windscreen simultaneously. B and G in the picture below:
