Default Is there a reason that no one replies to me?

I posted a couple things yesterday. Everyone else gets replies almost immediately. Is there some educate or something? I'm not trying to sound rude.

Give it a chance Jarrod, not everyone is at a computer 24/7.

I'm sure those in the know will be along soon enough to help you out.

Maybe while you are waiting you can find time to post an intro in the new members section?

Don't know what you posted about, but you'll get replies. I'm relatively new here, but anything I've posted gets replies after a while. I wonder if there's a delay in the system of posting the replies though because some of my posts have gone 24 hours or more with hundreds of views but no replies, but then I get 3 or 4 replies very quickly.

That could be the case. I'm seeing some more now. I might just be being impatient since its frustrating to be down to one car

Don't forget, not everyone (by a long shot) is going to have an answer to your questions so may not be able to contribute anything constructive (other than a shoulder to cry on! Perhaps we should have a 'sympathy button next to the 'thanks' one).
We'll all try and help if we can especially if we have suffered the same problems; quite often I read a post as it deals with a similar issue to one that I am having but I won't actually answer it.
I've only had my X Type a month and hardly anything has gone wrong at all so far (famous last words!).

Welcome Jarrod.
I'm replying to your post. It's often about how you post a topic too. If it looks interesting enough like *why don't people like me. It's sort of worth a look.

Sometimes you see a post with no/little replies but has had several views often means people look at it but have nothing they are able to add that is on the posted topic.

We really do love you,Neil

I see. Well Thanks for the welcome.
A sympathy button would be nice. Haha

Anyway does anyone know a place I could borrow a code reader? I really don't want to pay to have it towed to a shop then to my place to fix it, considering its something I can do myself.
Or do some businesses come out maybe, even if for a fee?

Posted this on my other thread. I figure I'll have more luck if I ask here too

It's posts like that one that may take some time for replies as you are waiting for someone local to reply. There's no point in me replying saying I have one you can borrow when I'm nowhere nearby.

I've seen posts from others who say Advanced Auto and other retail parts stores will scan for you at the store location, and also loan out some tools (with collateral?), so perhaps they'll loan a scanner if you can't drive it there... that's all I got for ya.

(long time reader, first time poster)

Good luck,
Sterling

Basic code readers are quite cheap to buy, perhaps that is the way forward.
