Default Think I f***ed up

Hi guys. Been busy with the holidays but now trying to get back to this Jag. Long story short...had lean codes/vacuum leak. Planned to replace IMT rings, PCV hose and break booster hose. Decided to try break booster first because it is most accessible and seemed pretty straight forward, just pull off old hose and replug new one the same. Weelll, when I tried to disconnect the booster hose where it goes into the top of the manifold it broke. The end of the booster was stuck in the little rubber gromet/seal thingy, and the rubber part came apart in pieces. The break booster hose does not come with a seal there so Im lead to believe this is part of the manifold, and now Ill probably have to replace the whole thing. Please guys tell me Im wrong and this is just a seperate little part I can get to replace this seal, or whatever it is.

Yea!!! Thanks Brutal. I knew I could count on you. Plastic collar...doh! I knew it was going to be something that simple. Thats what I get for being impatient.
And Dennis[sm=drlove.gif], thx. I actually like working on my own car. Its funny the looks I get. People are amazed to see a girly girl working on a car. Now dont get me wrong, as soon as I mess up my nails Im done. LOL

Don't you feel bad. That's half the excitement of DIY. I feel bad because I could have told you. By the way, since the collar fell apart anyways, it's likely youcould still have had a vacuum leak. Now you can be sure it will be fixed completely.

Ha ha ha. Thats going to be my objective, with a little help from my friends [sm=Awwww.gif]. Millennium Jaguar had to order the kit, they say it should arrive sometime next week. Obviously I havent seen it yet so dont know what it contains. Is the manifold going to have to be removed for this? I doubt if the kit will come with instructions, lol.
