Default thoughts on these service prices?

So I called a reputable shop here that specializes in European autos. My X-Type has 106k on it now and I was looking to get a transmission fluid flush, and transfer case and rear diff drain and fill. These are the prices they quoted me.

Transmission: $200 parts, $210 labor = $410
Transfer case: $25 parts, $105 labor = $130
Rear diff: $45 parts, $105 labor = $150

Transfer case is going to be my first priority. The others I am willing to put off later. I might have heard the quote wrong in the voicemail for the transmission flush. I believe another place quoted me more around $200 for that.

Umm Transfer case looks a little high, but I guess its fine. I haven't done the other services so I wouldn't know...

Any other help for this guy?

If he's using Jag specialty fluids then it's reasonable...liquid gold.

Thanks guys. This was quoted using specified fluids by Jag. I think I might go ahead with this place even if it is slighter more expensive than other shops. This seems in line with what I've read and asked around before.

Smile Prices

IMHO I think all the quotes are high. I had to have my front and rear roll bar bushings changed. Jaguar wanted close to $1000 for the job. My mechanic who is very good did it for $400 including the price of the bushings. That being said, the only one that might be "tricky" is the transfer case I'd probably have a dealer do that. The others any good mechanic can do.

the driveline should be 80-120 each section. transmission 150-250 is average if you drop the pan change the filter and gasket....so 4somethin seems very high.
