Default Throttle Body Reset after engine swap????

Hello Everyone,
Been a member here for quite sometime but a lost password and I am not able to retreive PW again as I do not have access to old email account. I have always found the best advise and solutions here.

so here I go again. After stubbornly not admitting defeat. My X-type blew a head gasket from overheating. I decided to just have a shop install a used engine instead of rebuilding the original one. The shop called me today and said everything is done.......except that when you step on the accelerator, it just revvs. He told me that I need a CPU throttle body reset because of the new engine? Does this sound right? Does that even exist?

If anyone could shed some light on this will be a great deal of help. He wants $2,586 for everything but staes he is not able to do a cpu/ECU reset for the Throttle body. HELPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!

Thanks in advance.
