Ticking sound inside cabin
Guys,
I have a Jaguar x type 2,5 v6 from 2002 and I have this strange ticking sound in the dashboard when the car runs.
Does any of you have an idea what it could be? Sounds like a broken fan or something. I've uploaded the sound, interior blower is off, engine is running. I also rev the engine, sound stays the same.

Where is it located? Seems like the noise is coming from the passenger foot well on the right from me?
I read on the linked thread that it is behind the steering wheel? Or only when this is located on the right side?

The aspirator fan is located behind a very small grille on the panel behind the steering wheel. This fan goes into operation when you open the driver’s door (to prepare the climate control to go into action) and it runs continuously until some time after the engine is shut off and the door cosed. When dirt is sucked into the fan it tends to become a bit noisy.
