Default Tire Recommendations???

Need to replace a set of tires on my '03 X-TYPE standard. Looking for good handling, smooth ride, and quiet ride, finally - reasonable cost...
Any recommendations???

Jagnut,

There is a very good thread called "Tire Recommendation"...very similar to your title that has some very good information. Use the Search for this forum-or even my posts-and you'll find it.

I had Nitto's for summer tires and Kuhmo Ecsta ASX for winter. Kuhmo's were okay, but those Nitto's were awesome. The X would handle like it was on rails with those things.

I'm actually going with some Falcon ZX912 this weekend - they are $108 each, 40,000 mile tread and considered an all season performance. I will let you know what I think of them by the end of next week or so.

These are the ones I recomend. I have a pair of Michelin Pilot sport A/S tires on mine, and you get a HUGE performance, and comfort upgrade. I love them. They are the best A/S tires. I have the eagles on my Mazda Miata, and they are very good A/S tires as well. They are a bit more expensive, but well worth the cost.
