TPS sensor/throttle body mystery

TPS sensor/throttle body mystery
I'll try to make a long story short. 2002 X-Type, 2.5L Automatic. My TPS light was coming on about every 200 miles so I thought I would be proactive and replace it with a rebuilt TB now before it "totally" went out. A few clues before I tell you the current symptoms after installing the rebuilt TB. My original TB casting number was X43-9F991-O with a number below the casting number of 0170 11C09. The re-builder determined the casting number was a "CC" and sent me a re-built TB with a casting number X43-9F991-CC with a number below the casting number of 0170 11C09. Being optimistic, I thought maybe the O I read on my original "dirty" TB was actually a CC covered up with dirt and grime and appeared more clearly after the TB was cleaned, all the other numbers matched so I installed this one. Now the symptoms: the TPS light comes on about every 20-25 miles now, there is a "surge" at about 1800RPM’s if you try to hold it constant and the throttle has a bit of a "lag time" when I let off the pedal. Any suggestions, guesses or ideas? Let me state emphatically the re-builder has been phenomenal in working with me on this, just thought I would solicit a fresh look from this Forum. Thanks in advance for any help or ideas you might have.
