Well, it caught up with me today
Hit a sharp corner hard! ....thankfully these Caymans run 150 refurbished, so a new one has been ordered. The X type is not a concourse-wanna-be garage-queen like my other cars and even sleeps outside, but this was too much to let pass up. I let little dents and other things go, but not this!
Nice job. I already ordered mine though.....It would probably be worth it to refurbish my damaged one though, once the new rim is mounted..it would be much easier without the wheel on and out of the car
Yeah, the only challenge was the bondo plastic metal filler. It hardens UNBELIEVABLY hard. Like liquid steel. Sanding it off is a chore, but at least I know it's plenty strong.
