A tricky clutch
Hi there!
Time to time the clutch behaves kind of weird. Sometimes it does not disengage during the shifting (especially 2nd to 3rd gears with 4k+ revs). It has been behaving like this for a while now. And the clutch set (the disc, the pressure plate and the slave cylinder) was replaced 11 month (25k miles) ago. Also the clutch pedal becomes quite stiff after 30+ min of driving on the fifth gear. And after 1 push everything comes to be normal.
The system was bled a couple of times after the clutch replacement, so I'm pretty much sure there should not be any air in the system.
I have two parts in mind that might cause these to happen. Slave/Master cylinder.
Maybe somebody knows or has similar experience in the past, and can advise something.
I'm going to buy a new master cylinder and a returning spring, and change it myself. But just to don't want to waste time and money for nothing if it's not the case.
+ I took a look and the job does not seem to be very complicated. The only concern I have so far - how to bleed the clutch system in garage as I've never done it myself.
Thank you in advance!
