Default Under bonnet sound deadening panel sagging.

Hi All,
The sound deadening panel on my 3l petrol engine is sagging and rubbing on the inlet manifold. Has any member fixed this problem and if so how. Replies appreciated.
Thanks to the members who responded to my post re foot rest.
David Bruce.

Hi Dell,
Thanks for the quick reply. My under bonnet panel is in too good condition to warrant a replacement. I was wondering if any members had fitted a curved metal bar that would use the original two mounting screws and because of the bow would hold the panel off the inlet manifold? The same thing happened to my 03 X type we bought new.
Regards, David Bruce.

Default under bonnet sound panel sagging.

Hi members,
I have fitted a piece of flat steel about 20 mm wide put it through a set of rollers to give it a curve drilled a hole at each end and using the original mounting screws screwed it in to place.
