Strange one this. A couple of times recently when I unlock the car the horn will beep . I know it will do this if you lock the car and a door or the boot is not closed but I have never heard of it doing it when you unlock the car. Any ideas ?

 

heard of this, seen it posted on another forum, and i will quote what they answered :
"I wonder if the car has had the auto relock enabled. This feature will automatically relock the car if a door is not opened within about 45 seconds of unlocking it. (to avoid inadvertantly leaving the car unlocked.)"

i tried to get mine to beep on lock, could not do it.

 

No I don't think it has ,I unlocked it this morning and it was ok . After reading your post I just went out and opened the still unlocked door so the autolock can't be on.

 

Well last night I silicone sprayed all the locks and then took her for a good run as I have only been doing really short runs this last few weeks and I thought the battery might need a boost.
Have just been and unlocked and locked the doors a couple of times this morning and no mystery beep! Here's hoping
