Default Unusual ECU situation

tl/dr version

The part of the ECU that controls the electronic throttle has failed. It was repaired once before and has failed again years later. Due to circumstances listed below, I really can't take it to the Jag dealer to have another ECU programmed into the car. Looking for options as to who might be able to repair this ECU, clone it or ???

Detailed version

Car is a 2002 X-type, 3.0/5spd, ECU is 1X43-10K975-BL I obtained the car 6 or 7 years ago after 3-way litigation where no one wanted anything to do with it. Piecing together what occurred based on the damage, it appears the electronic throttle failed then they towed it on a wheel lift which eventually locked up the transfer case and ripped off the side of the trans. I fixed all the mechanical carnage and then discovered the car was in limp mode due to the e-throttle issue in the ECU. Got that fixed and then daily drove it for a couple years. I had already replaced the car with something else and I had been participating in this other event for years so during the Covid shutdown the car interior was stripped and a cage put in so the car could race with the 24 Hours of Lemons. It raced successfully for a couple years including a class win at Sears Point. At Laguna Seca the e-throttle failed again and it got rear ended while limping back to the paddock. But that part isn't really pertinent.

So I have a semi-bricked car that has had a fair bit of time, effort and money put into it. If someone can repair the current ECU, great. If it can be cloned, even better. As I understand it, a cloned IDS/SDD can't reprogram an ECU due to needed to grab some magic from Jaguar over the internet which is a no-go. I see no way in hell that a Jaguar dealer will allow this car onto it's lot, much less reprogram an ECU. So I'm kind of stuck. I haven't found anyone who will attempt to repair this ECU. What I'm wondering is since I really don't care about the VIN on this car, would it be possible to obtain another ECU and climate control unit (I believe that's where the security stuff and VIN is also stored) from a junkyard vehicle, would I be able to have a locksmith program my key to those replacement modules? Where else does the car know what it's VIN is? I've attached pix of what appears to be the affected or repaired part of the ECU along with the car in action

Thoughts? Suggestions?
