It's definitely not legal to have red lights in the front while on the roadways. But, parking lots and private property is fine.

I think they're LED surrounds, not the actual headlamp.

My car is completely torn apart right now and I never did get the headers on yet but they will be used for the turbo project. I only made it as far as 2.5" pipe from flex pipe back to the mufflers. Here's a couple pictures...

When the car goes back together it'll be totally different but still using the same color scheme. New wheels, over fenders, custom splitters and totally aggressive! Lots of things in the works 😆😈

WOW!!! I've lived in California way too long! I forgot how much undercarriage damage the winters can do to a car. I was thinking of another forum member who had done his entire car in plasti dip, he made it work.

I've been following you on your header exploration (being the first to do it makes you the explorer) I'm next door neighbor to MSDS and was going to take Kit to them and see if they could make a full length header, instead of just a shorty. Probably not, it's just too damn tight.

Your Megan Racing Adjustable Rear Toe Control Arm was that for the Focus and is it a bolt on? I'm lowering mine with the Bilstein B12 kit and thought it best to make the rear as adjustable as possible.

Kudos for your tenacity and resolve! Keep posting your progress!

Thank you buddy. Its definitely a long process and expensive

The rust is unbearable. I have a super clean donor X that I've pulled the front and rear subframe assemblies out of a long time ago. They will be what everything gets bolted back to and they will be bolted back to that donor X. My car is most definitely not the cleanest x type on the road which is pretty much what has prompted the tear down before the winter hits hard.

The pictures of the exhaust is from a while ago before I had the toe arms in. The hub side bolts in no problem but you'll need a spacer as our factory arms have a bend in it so when you put the straight one in, there is slack in the mount on the frame side that the new spacer will take up. Justink removed the factory sleeve and used it I think, I just used a stack of washers...I also removed like a quarter inch away from each side of the body of the arm where the heim threads in so I could get a lock nut in there...

The headlights have a white halo in them as well and I'm adding demon eyes to the factory low beam projector lens and to the new retrofitted lens. All the red will be on seperate switches in the cabin but the white halo is being wired to the factory DRL switch.

Your car is beautiful my friend. Short of someone slithering under and viewing the perils of Michigan's roadway salt application, I doubt you would find anyone who would disagree, though I'm not sure you'll get unanimous approval on the red wheels.

I'm told constantly, mostly by my ex-wife, how crazy I am and how I should seek help for my OSD. I have a feeling you get your fair share of that rhetoric also? I've of the opinion that babble comes from people with little, or no creativity. They don't understand that what looks like OSD, in some people, is simply the observable outpouring of their natural creativity. You have no choice!

So the arms I need to buy are intended for a Volvo, or Focus... what year?

I have a feeling you might be channeling some Ghost Buster's entity who's determined to take over your car. I think it's so cool. Keep it going!

Thanks again man. Most people like the red but everyone liked them when they were white. I like the red better though.

The toe arms are from a Focus and are pretty much any year earlier than 2012.

What is OSD? I know of OCD...

My bad! OSD is "On Screen Display". I was working in a program called Kodi on my TV monitor while simultaneously writing my comments. Apparently my ADD transposed OCD into OSD... And I'm sticking with that!

I like the red also. They remind me of a Porsche GT(?)RS a friend owned a few years back.

It's the car I'm referring to!

Is this donor car how you can have so much of your x-type on the bench? I mean are you taking the headlamps out of your donor, making mods and installing them in the red demon? If so, what a sweet deal!

Yessir yessir! Good majority of that car is gone by now, I kept what I knew I'd want or need.
