Default Vacuum leak?

Had a vacuum leak last year. The car would sputter when I started it and do the same for a few minutes at red lights ect when i wasnt giving it gas until it warmed up, and i had the "cruise not available" warning. I had it fixed. Now that its getting cold, every time i start it, it does the sputtering, feeling like its gonna stall thing until i give it gas once and then its good. Early stages of a vacuum leak?

Sean, check the big 3 hoses (PCV valve hose, brake booster hose, and the IMT valves). odds are, from what you are describing, you have a split PCV valve hose. But, I am taking a guess here.

Seems the vacuum leak season was just over and here it is starting again. Next, prop shafts will be whining...and then it will be Christmas. Time flies.

Both of these issues are aggravated as the weather gets colder.

Had this same problem about 4 years ago. It would sputter when it was cold outside. But was okay when I gave it gas or until the car warmed up. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the intake upper and lower seals. I also had them put in new spark plugs. Everything worked well after that.
