Default Very noisy front defrost vents?!?

Hi everyone,
I have brought my car to three or four different repair shops and people to take a look at my 07 x-type. Every shop has told me that everything looks 100% normal. But everytime I hit some sort of bump, it sounds like my whole car is going to fall apart and it's from my front dashboard. I think it's from my defrost vents flexing when I hit a bump. I mean I have had the x-type since new and it did not ride this poor, until the last couple of years. I do ride on the 18 in protous wheels. Are there any fixes for noisy defrost air vents. The jaguar dealership, told me they had problems with the defrost vents early on but my car shows none of the signs of the vents that are warped up. The car might be riding fine but it sounds terrible going over bumps and it's starting to bother me.
Any help?
Thanks.

1 - Pry the round pushpin from each vent and remove the vents - they pop right out. Drive the car. Does the noise persist?

2 - The front subframe connects directly beneath the dash area, so there may be something going on there...

How do you get the pin out? I am having difficulty with that.

Maybe strut bearings. $100 for both and labor.

I took out my vents late last night. It solves my problem by 90%. Still has a noise when hitting a bigger pot hole but it is much better with them out. Could any other part of the dash board be rattling around? It still sounds like a few little things are moving.
Thanks for your help,
Mike
