Default weird happening.

Got the car back, rebuilt transmission. Today after school the car had been sitting in the -34 celcuis weather for a few hours. Came in started....barely which is odd cuase I remember last year it start just normal when it was colder out. Okay so idle the car for about 10 minutes.

PPut it in reverse, back up, shift into drive, turn the steering wheel, foot comes off gas and.....the car died.....

Okay so i shift to neatrual and restart, works fine?
no lights

Whats going on, this car just got a new custom drum in the transmission among other components.

Could check the TCM connection - I had a stall condition when my connection came loose, shortly after complete transmission replacement.

How's the battery?

If its the original battery, its certainly time to chuck it and replace it with a new one. Once the batteries start to go these cars do all kinds of funny stuff.

Yes a little, I was bent on selling it, and getting a commander or genesis coupe, but driving through the -46 today changed my mind and made me realize, this car is pretty darn good for what it was built for, and the fact when i see my car in the morning it always makes me smile. So for now im hanging on to her. Im in no rush to sell this winter "tank"

Yea im not sure if the batterys original or not. But maybe ill stop by wall mart or crappy tire and pick one up. What are the specs for our car batteries?

My original battery was replaced with a Napa brand battery after my accident. The body shop just measured the existing battery and went to Napa with the dimensions and bought another with the same CCA rating. Can't say I had any complaints.

I have a Wal Mart Everstart in my Jeep, has lived up to its name so far.
