My screenwash pump works perfectly for the rear, but makes no noise and doesnt function at all for the front. I`m led to believe that one pump serves both front and rear? So why does it work for rear and not front?!

Have you checked the fuse/wiring as the pump runs one way for the front and the other way for the rear.
