What can you fit in your X-Type saloon?
Just a light hearted thread to see what comes up.. my poor X-Type shifted a lot of stuff when I moved house - and now our family has gained as Top Gear would say, a reasonably priced, mid size dog - (Leonberger/GSD cross) and I have concluded when we are all fitted in (my wife, two children, the dog, and me) we are pretty much at the limit of what I can fit in lol
How about you? Any stories out there?

Well, I certainly cannot fit an Ampeg 8 x 10 cabinet in the boot, even with the seats down, but the 1x 15 or 4 x 10 fit in there fine along with a couple of basses and the roadcase with the head, wireless, and compressor.
We actually squeezed a big old Midas analogue console in there, too, but without the case (separately, not with the bass rig!)
There is even enough room left over to put the drummer in the passenger seat, because, let's face it, drummers simply don't have cars of their own!
I am very pleased with the amount of , uh, STUFF, yeah, that's it, stuff, that fits in there!

Mine at one point had 4 bags of fertilizer in it, 4 bags of potting soil, and 10 bags of cedar mulch. Still had the whole passenger compartment to go. Granted, mine has also seen a 55" TV get shoehorned in the back seat. Then there was the lumber trip where I picked up 20 1x4's and ran them out the sunroof. If you use your mind a little bit, I am sure you can put tons of stuff into the car to do what you are after.
When moving from Ohio to Illinois, I had the X stuffed so full that I had to use the global close feature to make sure everything got into it. There was stuff everywhere, the boot, the floor and on all seats.
Granted, the car was on a flatbed trailer, but she held quite a bit of stuff.
