Old was better. But they should have updates the pictures of the models displayed. The new looks a little too garish to me.

Seems to me to be a 30/30/30 split for those who don't like it, those who do and those who never even noticed

Anyhow, onwards n upwards....Its part of a bigger change and here to stay. Seems to be a consensus of "missing the leaper" and I know it seems more revered in the US / Canada than it does here i nthe UK, unfortunately that gone too!

After giving it some time, I must say it is the 2nd to WORST font change ever. The first was when Car and Driver changed theirs a few years back. I guess it might be fine for those with nice big screens but for me it is nearly impossible to read and gives me a headache with the colors.

That Car and Driver font change was an abomination. They couldn't leave well enough alone.

So Jim is this change a result of a complaint (Jag? Tata?) or is it just a "time for a change" type thing?

Have they fixed it yet? I didn't renew my subscription because of it (or maybe it was laziness)

Yeah they revised the font so it isn't microscopic. I let my subscription lapse as well but recently renewed it and it is much easier to read.

I sense Jim is in a back room licking his wounds er pride. I put my finger on what is wrong, fine get rid of the leaper, have the font in (WTF?) blue or whatever, but at the very least match the Jaguar font to the proper jaguar font, not this preppy mix of upper and lower case all the same size crap that's there. or make the G lower case. Having been in the printing trade for 16 years you would be drummed out of the lithographers union!

Opposite our last 'makeover' several months ago, this time we (at least not the mods) were not allowed any input on the new changes to the logo and text. Jim was probably informed of the change a day before (or possibly even the day of) the 'upgrade'. It gives me a sci-fi feeling when I see it, and to me...that's a good feeling.

After all, its just a header, and after awhile, you rarely even notice or even read it any longer. The content, as mentioned earlier, and its members (like you'all) is what makes this forum so appealing.

We spend so much time looking at and fixing the flaws in our cars, and usually these are only visible to us. If I came out to look at my car and saw this as a badge, I would de-badge or re-badge it. I think we are all particularly sensitive because if we didn't pay attention to industrial design, we wouldn't buy Jaguars or be here.

From my perspective, the logo is just part of the header. After I look at it once or twice it is ignored. Just put up something simple, so if you need a visual reference to confirm that you are on the Jaguar forum site. It is not a fixed header, so once you start reading a posting it is gone off the top of my screen anyway. The image of the cars on the right make more of a statement to me than the forum's font and title.

I'm not a fan, but likely a week from now I'm not going to remember what the original header looked like any way......but then short term memory loss is a symptom of a miss spent youth.
