What the heck does this plug into??
Hi everyone!
Brand new member, first time post. Here goes...
The coolant reservoir on my '05 3.0 X Type Wagon recently sprung a leak and, along with it, my A/C stopped blowing cold air. When I removed the reservoir to replace it, I saw this little sucker laying in a puddle of coolant, right under where the reservoir sits. I cannot, for the life of me find where it plugs in! My fingers are crossed that this missing connection is the cause of my A/C not working properly. Even if it isn't, I'd sure like to plug it in, since I'm sure it's not completely meaningless!
Thanks for any help you might be able to offer!

It's funny, someone asked the same question just the other day, I thought it might be related to the coolant overflow tank but Thermo cleared it up explaining that it was a battery charger plug for when the cars were new and in transit so it doesn't plug into anything and serves no purpose now.

Thanks for the help though, ltmax!
