Default What is this light for?

Just picked up 2002 X-Type. Littel red light be park break and what looks like might be a coin holder glows once in a while. Can'y find anything in the manual about it. Anyone able to tell me what it indicates?

I believe that is the locked doors/alarm on indicator.

Part of the security system. It will flash periodically to tell you that it is monitoring the car. If someone tries to start the car with a non-approved key, that light will turn on solid. If you have problems starting the car, that is a good light to look at to see if something has happened to your key.
