What should i get 6.5k or 8k?

What should i get 6.5k or 8k?
Im about to order some hid's, and was wondering if anyone had any input whether i shud get the 6.5k or the 8ks. I want the blue look, but also want good output. so im thinkin 6.5k is the way to go, but just want to see what you guys have to say before i order them.

yea, get the 6k's or 6.5s at the most. i have 8ks, while they look great, they dont emit much more light than the blue standard halogen bulbs. 6's look blue enough, but are MUCH brighter. I live in the city though, so i dont need headlights at all because the roads are so well lit out here, if you need them to see, get the 6k's. if you just want em to be pretty, get the 8ks.

hey somekidz.... just a observation.. and maybe you have an idea about this...
when i say you i mean "one" as in everyone
you drive around all over the place with your licence plate fully visable, in front of people from all walks of life..
then you go to an enthusiasts message board and post a pic where only a few select internet friend look at it.. and you cover the plate up....
I can never understand this. why are plates secret online but fully public in real life? hahah

The problem is that some people are not as nice as others, and you'd like to eliminate any possibility of someone trying to find you and do something to your car over a stupid internet fight! I'll be back to post a pic of why we cover our license plates!

The ones i am getting areSiemens with Philips bulbs, get a 3 year warrantyy on the ballasts and a regular 1 year on the bulbs. Im goin to get the 6k's. Thanx for everyones help on deciding

They may have originally been Phillips bulbs BUT Phillips does not actually produce an H1 Xenon blub. They are rebased bulbs. Be sure you inspect the beam (cutoff line) after installing. Some companies do a pretty poor job of rebasing bulbs.
Phillips only makes OEM Xenon bulbs and they only come in two sizes.

i havent put in the order yet, didnt get time. Ironcobra, you seem to know more about this then i do, any other info, or hid kits you know that ud be a better choice. I dont want to have to install them and then be unhappy with it. Thanx forthe heads up on the rebased bulbs
