Thinking about upgrading those and curious

85, the door speakers are 6-3/4" speakers. As you will find out, there are not too many options in that size. Fortunately, most of the 6.5" speakers are large enough and are adapted to fit into the 6-3/4" opening. So, look up the 6.5" speakers and you will be good to go. If you are still using the stock stereo, make sure you are getting speakers that are rated for atleast 40 W RMS each.

ahhh I knew that. For some reason I was thinking there are speakers in the rear dash and THOSE were 6.5". I've found some nice infinity's for my doors then. Thanks chris!
