Default What is this squeak?

I have a squeak coming from the left rear tire area on the 04 X-Type. It is a strange one to me. It is a rotational squeak that is noticeable from outside the car at slow speed. Kinda like squeak...... squeak.....squeak. Thanks in advance for your opinions. bob

Bob, does the squeak go away when you apply the brakes or does it go to a solid squeak? If applying the brakes causes it to change, then odds are your pads are getting significantly worn and you need to replace your rear pads. If the noise does not change, then odds are you are looking at a bad wheel bearing.

Did it end up being the bearing? I have the same squeak sounds like brakes but doesnt stop when I press them also my pads and rotors have been changed less than 10,000 miles ago.
