What is going on guys. here at work eating lunch....anyway, plan on calling Jaguar today about when the warranty will expire....

 

Okay, i just got off the phone with Jaguar.

I have warranty until end of June 07. For extended warranty, i have to go to a dealer.

I was told oil services, 20K, 30K service was done on the car and I need to get a 40K service done within 2K miles.

I was told that there is nothing outstanding regarding TSB's, but she recommonded to have the dealer to look into it. I guess i can print out a copy of all TSB's and take it to the dealer, but i am sure they have that data.

Yeah man...I will take it toa dealer and get all the littleannoying sh t fixed b4 warranty expires, like the air vents that are loose on the dashboard.

Have you guys had problem with paint peeling off on your rear bumper? Looks like there is a small area where i noticed some peeling of the coat on the paint.

 

Got some small chips on the front bumper, been followin the big riggs to close...[sm=wootwoot.gif]

 

make sure you do bring any tsbs you want fixed with you. you would be amazed how many dealers do not keep these on hand.

I will print out the list of the TSB's. The dealer is obligated to fix all of them if it they have not already done so, right?

 

i don't think so. they have to perform any Recalls, but a TSB is not a required item to be repaired...i think. i may be wrong.

Hey, let me ask you something. I have new tires on the car. It is making quite a bit of noise. The steering wheel doesn't shake, but sometimes the car feels bumpy at 60 mph. Seems like a rotational/whirling noise. What do you think this is?

 

My continentals are noisy as hell over 75mph. But i don't have this bumpy description you type of. How are your shocks and suspension?

How are the tires holding up as for wear? Any uneveness? Cupping?

 

New tires, couple hundred miles on it. I have not noticed any uneveness as of yet. Sounds like a whirling noise as tires rotate.

The bumpiness is hardly noticeable, but around 60 or so, the car feels like it shakes. Like i said, nothin major, but i wonder if it is shocks.

I guess i am okay with the noise as i speed up, but the weird whirling noise is getting annoying.

Also, have you experienced a rattle noise at all while accelerating? Comes and goes, but i want to make sure it is nothing major.

When you say the car shakes over 60mph, does that mean the "car shakes". Or does that mean your "steering wheel shakes". Cuz if its your steering wheel you need to get your tires balanced!!!
