Well if it's under warranty it's covered.....as for maaco, I don't think they will be able to match the paint...the jag paint is a 3 step process with differnt paint texture....Maaco will only do the one step and may not have that deep gloss.....but I would ask for Maaco warranty if the paint don't match get your money back...

It is like the gloss that is peeling from the paint or something. I have to look at it more closely. I don't know if the car i purchased was involved in a crash. The carfax report was clean.

I plan on making an appointment in the next 2 weeks or so.. There are some minor things i will have them look at along with the bumper issue....
My main concern is the intermittent tranny noise.....dammit

The one thing the dealer doesn't like is an intermitten problem. if it didn't trip a code bro, you're not going to get much help. Best bet run the **** out of it till she breaks hard.

No, i didn't get any extended warranty. i plan on trading her in for a new one or another awd vehicle in about 2 or 3 more years (when the warranty runs out) i was looking at the lexus G something with AWD....looks nice....but not as sleek as the X.....
i really like the X so I might just get a new one again 2 years....

Well not sure about you guys, but my 3L is ok, I'm happy with it..she moves....but than again i spent almost 5K in engine work.....lol
As for warranty issuses jimbo, let me tell you, you're not too far off the mark...I had a monte carlo SS a few years back, bought brand new, warranty was 3 years/30K miles I **** you not, I hit 30,003 miles and she crapped out on the road dead. dealer would not touch it under warranty even though it was under 3 years but over the 30K miles....cost me 1K to fix it. i was pissed! paid for the repairs and traded her in that day for a Ford truck...lol

lol, well it only happened to that one car, hell i had 5 since then...lol...of course they were all gone before the warranty ran out...lol..so um...yeah....warranty....to be debated further.....stay tuned
