Default Wheel off-set

I'm looking at getting some wheels for the Jag. I was thinking about going alittle wider in the rear. Do you guys think that would be a good idea with an all wheel drive car?

BTW: I'm looking at the 18" TSW Kyalami's in Hyper Black.

Thanks for the advice.

Might think twice - check Iron Pony's thread further down the page. Also - I didn't think TSW madecorrect wheelsfor the X-type????

18 inch wheels and extra wide is not a good idea. you'll end up rubbing the wheels and damaging the tire. also, incorrect offset (a.k.a, not a rim designed for the jag) will greatly effect your steering and alignment

Thanks for the info.

I think I'm going to go with a set of Kazera KZ-A in the 18" Variety.

Hmmm X type 750, dunno bout the offset idea with wider rims on the back?
I seem to remember a few years ago when the Avengers were on they had a Jag like that with flared arches and so on, dunno bout today style wise on the X.
Let alone the other issues you may have to contend with!

Hey there xtype750 I don't know why you'd go with them period? There are some better rims on ebay if you are looking into black rims. I'm warning you now those wheels will SUCK to clean, I have a set of Konig Theory's and they are some of the crappiest rims I've every owned! Actually those rims are like a knock off of the konigs I have, they look very similar. Also watch out for that polished/aluminum or whatever material that lip is because it doesn't take much to ruin the rim and make it look ugly! Mine have turned from nice to crappy in one snowstorm or rainstorm!
