I managed to get around to refurbishing my wheels. The repair shop did an excellent job and matched the color I wanted perfectly. It cost $100 per wheel. I think this was great value as they also had to straighten the wheels. They said that the wheels were really soft material and prone to buckling.

You can't really see it, but I replaced the leaper with a black chrome one; it looks the nuts (to me).

Next I need to get a slight window tint.
