Wheel size
Hi,
I have an X-Type 3.0L SE 4dr (June 2001).
The Driver's Handbook (JJM 10 02 20/15) says: 16" alloys or 17" alloys. I bought the car with 18" alloys. Does that mean that the 18" alloys are NOT the recommended size by Jaguar for this particular X-Type 3.0L SE 4dr, please?
Thanks in advance,
Alexandre

Will 16" wheels work on the sport model? I'm wanting to get some dedicated winter tires and wheels for our 04' sport X-Type. Wasn't sure if the brakes were any different than the non sport model as some other makes of cars that are labeled as sport models have larger brakes. If 16's will work what width and offset is recommended?
