Wheel Size?
Bought my wife a 2007 X Type. It has the factory 16" wheels on it. I put snow tires on these wheels and want to buy a nice set of wheels for the nice weather. Can anyone help me out on what size to buy? I would like to go as big as possible. Thanks.
You can put 20s on your wife's car, but "as big as possible" for me with my wife driving would probably be 18" with a ton of sidewall (for me that is probably a 235/40/18) and adequate curb guards on the tires you choose.
Here is a link to my cardomain site. I've had all diameters from 17" to 20" and most are pictured here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/384217...-jaguar-x-type

Personally, I wonder if the 17" wheels would be a good choice? My X-Type has the 18" Arubas. Perhaps it's the brand of the tires, but I feel a lot of road imperfections.

I have a 2002 X type, I got 20' Enkei LS5 from a friend, the tires on there are 245/35/20. I also just wheel adapters because of the bolt pattern(bought from a rim shop and dont know mm) but the tires will not fit! it rubs the bumper as soon as you turn it, i went to 2 different tire shops and they said they cannot find smaller tires. and if i did i would screw things up on my car, also the rims. is that true?
Someone please help me, what should i do? how to get tires or do something with the adapters? please help!
