Default Where is Nav System Module and Fuse?

I found the fuse: #72 but it affects other stuff so I am not likely to run with it out.
My NAV screen went to dreaded c50-51 yesterday with AC now in limp mode. With DVD drive disconnected, behaviour is exactly the same so there is obvious issue inside the drive which is $2400 at my dlr. A guy on here once changed to manual AC control but he was a guest two years ago. Has anyone else ever done this successfully? I have a line on a used one out of wrecked car but want to be sure it will work OK.
Or is repair of the DVD drive possible? It does spin the disk and there is a lithium battery in there reading 2.92V. Maybe a new battery will fix it? Anyone gone this far with one? Thank you.
