I have been working on sorting all the little issues out of the wife's car.




It's a 2002 2.5 Auto with 161k miles.
It makes this whine that sounds like a power steering pump or maybe intake gasket leak. It sounds center of the engine.


I did the VVT O-rings and the upper intake gaskets.
I have blasted and blasted away at the lowers with carb cleaner and had no change in idle.


Turning the wheel doesn't change the sound and I flushed the PS fluid with no change.
