Racer,

I am taking mine in for 40K service tomorrow. What does that entail do you know? I will have them look at the tranny for the whining/humming noise along with other small items.

Ah the famous 40K service...and your last....well last "free" one anyway. You get the same thing the 30K got you, an oil change and inspection.

Nothing too fancy, plain, simple and cost effective...

Racer,

I am waiting to hear from the dealer. I asked them to look into the tranny/driveshaft noise. Have not heard back yet. I need a car to get back home..

Yeah Dunhill, go check out what type of surgery they're performing to the jag! They'll show you the legs of the secretary("service rep")<<yea right<<, and they'll conveniently have you ignore thefact that your whip will be in the shop for 3 days for an "OIL CHANGE" and "INSPECTION"!

Okay. I was going to get the Jag back today. However, I asked the dealer to change the steering wheel if it was covered under warranty. It looked like it was worn out way too much for a car with 39K miles on it. Service rep said it would be covered. The part is on order, it will take couple days to get it.
