It's a good diagnostic method for eliminating what is NOT causing the vibrations, hopefully leading you to the source of the problem.

 

Literally just had the same issue thought it was the wheel bearing. Put new tires on it and it's completely gone. Tires had plenty of tread but there was something wrong in there. You should have a full size spare, you should try swapping whichever side you think it's coming from for your spare and see if it's any better. Hope this helps!

 

Low miles means low wear to the AWD drivetrain, and less forgiveness for tire ills.
So even a minimal difference in tire wear will cause some discomfort.

Check your driveshaft for sticker residue where a balance weight may have fallen or been knocked off, an easy check when people are throwing 4 digit repair bills your way.

 

Volvo:My Jag X @ 40k had a vibration at the speeds you said. It was a harmonic vibration (high-low) in the seat, nothing changed when turning or braking or in the steering. I took it to Jag and (TOLD THEM) it was the drive shaft. they put in a new one in, problem solved. Warranty worked for once.
