Default WildBill Transfer Case Kit AAA+++

Everything happened just like Billsaid! It is here and I just had a chance to look it over. Wow, everything exceeded my expectations! Nice write up and all the parts seem to be of good quality and really nice pump too! The instructions are on the money with pictures and made me want to run out and it do it immediately. Looks very straight forward and there is even arear differential piece for changing that fluid. I will get some pictures together this evening.Great job Bill!

Don,

I saw my profile in a mirror at the mall yesterday.

I'm not Santa but could pass with a little makeup. Time to lay off the cookies and start on the treadmill I guess.

You kit was sent last Friday. Post time to your neck of the woods this time of year is anybody's guess, but I certainly hope it gets there in time to take residence under the tree before it gets pressed into service.

Happy Holidays to all.

Wild Bill

So let me get this straight. Wild Bill's got transfer case kits? If this is true someone needs to let me in on the secret of where to get one. I would be so incredibly stoked if this was true.

Cheers and Happy Holidays,

Mike

Very cool. So it looks like it'sdesigned to help the do-it-yourselfer drain and refill the transfer case fluid. How much is the kit?

I do in fact have transfer case fluid change kits available.

$100.00 plus $10.00 shipping in the US. I currently have seven kits in stock for shipment.

Either e-mail me at wbeau@yahoo.com or just go to PayPal, click "Send", and put in my e-mail address. Please e-mail me after you do the PayPal payment with your shipping information and I will get the kit right out.

The only other things you will need are:

1. The lube you want to use (I recommend Sta Lube Syn Go 75W140 because it states that it meets the Jag spec right on the 1/2 gallon container)
2. A 3/8" drive ratchet and short extension to remove your existing drain plug (I use a 3/8" universal wrapped in electrical tape, exactly the right length if you have an automatic transmission)
3. A 7/8" box end wrench (but an open end or even a pair of channel lock pliers could be substituted)
4. A 1/2" open end wrench (but again pliers could be used)

In addition, you'll need to be able to get under the car SAFELY (I use a set of ramps from Pep Boys) and something to catch the drained lube.

The pump that comes with the kit is calibrated so you can put in the correct amount of lube and you will also get an adapter to use the pump for the rear differential. The instructions are very easy to follow and a drain and re-fill is about a ten minute job allowing eight minutes for the old lube to drain. Easier, quicker, and less messy than changing your engine oil & filter. And, it was designed for cars with automatic trannys. You will have plenty of room using this kit.
