thanks for the advice, i love your car, i like that color. looks good. i never had a car that you couldnt wash the engine bay. i also have a lincoln, it didnt bother it a bit. i bought the x type for my wife. she says the lincoln is to long to get into some parking places. i was thinking the x type would be good, for one because it was awd, in the winter. if i had known it had control modules for everything in the car i would ve never bought it. it will most likely leave

update, resolved
it was the tcm, i sent the tcm to g7 computers and they tested and restored it. i sent it to them so i would not have to reprogram, because it was my original, that was repaired. i put it in, and it fired right up and all issues was resolved. does fine now. cost $250 to restore tcm, they will also do ecm, the same way and the same price
