Hi all quick question,
i belive (from reading and reseraching) that this model of xtype ran from around 2001 to 2009 then 2010+ new model.

between 2001-09 in around 2008 there was a facelift new bumpers etc however was this the only facelift? any changes in the interior

any new equipment get introduced?

can you get auto lights / wipers on a 2002/03 model? bluetooth on a older car?

I have a 2007 SE with all the extras plus cold pack - this may help - apparently 500 minor changes - good luck!!

grant, in early 2004, jaguar did a lot of wiring modifications to the car to correct some issues. So, you will see where listings will call out a 2004 car and then a 2004.25 car (or late 2004 MY car). So, there were some changes over the years, but most of it is insignificant. Yes, the radios have been updated to incorporate new technology, but from what I have seen, you can take any radio and incorporate it into an older car. The big thing is making sure you have all the components of the radio.

 

...and yes, early MY's can be had with rain sensing wipers and auto headlights.

 

what does cold pack consist of?

Cold pack consists of heated windshield washers, heated seats, dynamic stability control and I think rear fog lights. Probably came with more little things, but they don't matter

I believe its the heated front screen - quick clear and the heated seats and one or two odds and ends the help clear the car in cold weather

 

Jakey, remember that dsc also came with the cold weather package which its why many owners decided to purchase it
