Hello, somebody have a rare Bag-sponge under the intake manifold?

 

kalacho, if I remember right, all of our cars come with a sponge there. It is meant to help keep the noise levels down in the engine and other things of the sort. Unfortunately, most of our cars loose this item due to deterioration of the sponge and the conditions under which it lives.

 

I can replace this part?

 

kalacho, not sure why you would. The amount of noise deadening it did was very minimal and if anything, trapped moisture on top of the engine leading to more problems than it solved. I would say that if you are in there, toss it out. But, don't go in just because you can. Have another reason to be going into that area.
