Default X-Type 2001 2.5 V6: problem with LPG

Hello,

I have a problem when driving with LPG in my X-Type 2001 Sport 2.5 V6, AWD, car is from USA.

My specialist installed in car a Fuel Pressure Emulator (AEB), but still when I'm driving using LPG i can see a "check-engine" light. I used an OBD scaner and I can see an error:
- P0191: Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor CKT Range/Performance

Even if I erase this error with my OBD scaner, it appears after approx. 5 minutes of driving on LPG.

I heard some advises, but I'm not sure if they are correct, and also don't know what to do. E.g.:

"X-Type cars from USA may have 2 fuel pressure sensors, co maybe it would be good to install 2 Fuel Pressure Emulators, or install 1 but in a smart way..."

Did anyone have such a problem? Can you advise me something? I would appreciate Thanks in advance.

Peter

I had an XJ6 running on propane and it never was any kind of problem, in fact it ran better on gas than petrol. I think you have as you suspected an emulation problem here. You have to "fool" the various sensors that the engine is still running on petrol when in fact it's running on gas.
This is a highly specialized area, you'll need someone with appropriate experience re. installation and conversion of a Jag. petrol engine to gas. Try 'Googling' for your area for help.

It might be that my fuel pump is not operating well, because it gives too high preasure in my opinion: 4.8 bar. I think I'll have to change my fuel pump.
