X Type 4x4 Manual fitting a Ford 2.0 Zetec 4 cylinder engine

I wondered if it would be possible to fit a Ford 4 cylinder 2.0 Zetec engine into an X Type 4x4 manual? Thanks, Andrew

that should fit using mondeo,contour motor mounts, also the 4 pot duratec should fit as well, the big issue would be the electronic side of the job, it would be great if you could get the x type ecu flashed to work with a zetec or duratec, but im not sure if this could be done by a diy'er with hacked dealer level software.

Anything can be done if you have the cash
