Been a while since I posted here... Had to reactivate my account even! .. But still, my x-type estate is still here after 9 years of ownership. I have to say (fingers crossed) apart from the usual wear and tear, it's a great solid car.. I know it's not that popular with Jaguar owners but I decided a few weeks ago to dechrome (not completely but just a bit less) and some rear light / indicator tinting (just a light tint).. I think the overall result ended up quite tasteful.. I just thought if it didn't work, I can always remove it!.. Let me know what you think.. I thought it was worth sharing if you were thinking about it but still on the fence!

...And after.. I bought a spare grill that I painted. I left the surround chrome (they are separate parts).. Might consider painting the spare one black.. it's a straightforward exchange..
