I have just purchased an X Type 2.2 D SE Auto 4 door. Should the electric folding door mirrors fold when I lock the car or will they only fold when I press the button on the drivers door. I this is the case can an App be fitted to the key to operate them when I lock the car

 

Unfortunately, Jaguar never made the mirrors on the X Type autofold on locking, however, the determination of owners has produced ways of modifying the wiring to make it so!! There are two different solutions - one for memory seat cars and one for non memory seat cars as the foldback system in each of these types is totally different.
