Could anybody tell me if the front subframe ever changed on a 2.0d x type or was it the same one throughout production, mine has rotted away! it's a 2005 number plate.
Also is it just the 2.0d front subframe I can use or do other engine variants fit too?.
I'm trying to get hold of a 2nd hand one but don't want to get the wrong one obviously.

As your is a front wheel drive you will need to get one from a front wheel drive car also you will need to check the vin number as there is a change in the part numbers
