Welcome blakjak. You're going to have to do better than that. This is a very friendly place and the guys might not take too kindly to strangers banging on the door and saying "give me ten bucks".
Why not give us a bit more information about yourself, your car, how and why you got it etc.
Then when you are able to, share a few pics.
All the best

Blakjak, like was mentioned, come on in, grab a cup of tea, lets talk a little bit. We will help you out as we are a fairly friendly bunch. Granted, we also hold higher than normal standards too. They are not tough to follow. Granted, also do a search of the forums and I bet you will find your answer in there too if you need an answer quick. There isn't much that can happen to these cars that hasn't been discussed here. So, come on over to the X-Type section and we will get you taken care of.
So, welcome to the site, take it easy, and lets discuss cars.

Sorry for the lame intro, I've joined other forums and you have to post an intro before posting elsewhere so that was my intro and here was the follow up post. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=32890
Now about me & the Jag.. I'm actually a desert rat and spend most of my time riding & racing ATV's in Continental Southwest and Baja Mexico. The Jag is my girls.. 2002 Jaguar X-Type 2.5 with about 50k but has salvaged title as it was impounded by US Govt. and door panels replaced before being sold at auction. Current problems include Scan code 2029 as well as an issue with Shift lock... Thanks in advance for all your help and I look forward to great conversation with all of you!

Welcome again Blakjak. You are forgiven, as you will gather this is a fairly 'wordy' forum.
Sounds like an interesting history, hope they put it back together OK. I've always wanted to visit your neck of the woods, maybe one day.
Don't know much about your particular car, but there are some great folk in the X-Type section.
One bit of advice, bang your butt before you get in the Jag, the 'leather, sand, denim sandwich is not great for the seats;~)
